Gift ideas for the gymnast in your life!

Hello again gym parents!


December has arrived and that means the holiday season is upon us. No matter what holiday(s) you and your family observe or how you choose to celebrate them, we have some gift ideas for all ages and budgets to help in your holiday gift shopping!



Gifts Under $30

1. Pillows! You can find a variety of pillow choices from this custom sequin pillow on Etsy to this gymnastics pillow case from amazon.

2. Gymnastics themed accessories for your gymnast's doll! These Snowflake Designs 18" doll leotards, shorts and even grips allow your gymnast and her doll to match! We should even have some of these in the proshop soon!

3. Books books and more books! There are a wide range of books in all reading levels available that your gymnast will love! Encourage a love of reading AND their favorite sport at the same time! I Will Try by Marilyn Janovitz, She's Got This by Laurie Hernandez, The Winning Team Series by Dominique Muceanu, and Nadia: The Girl Who Couldn't Sit Still by Karlin Gray are just a few great options.

1. Medal Holders! Display your gymnast's success and awards with pride with a medal/ribbon display for their bedroom wall! Try this one, or if you prefer a more personalized touch, look for one like this on Etsy.

2. A home balance beam! This foam folding balance beam gives the idea of the balance beam with a softer surface for new skills, or if you're not averse to some DIY you can check out these instructions for making your own backyard balance beam!

3. You can never go wrong with new gym gear! Check out the proshop in the gym for gear from Snowflake Designs or shop online for other great brands like GK Elite, AlphaFactor, OZONE, and Motionwear. Everything from leotards, compression shirts, bar shorts, and leggings can boost your athlete's confidence in the gym and give them the extra push they need to get that new skill!

4. A panel mat, or folding mat like this one is a great way for your gymnast to safely practice their skills at home! The more they practice, the more they learn!

5. This gymnastics skill builder set from Tumble Trak is a great option for helping your gymnast perfect their shaping and technique, and continue to build the strength needed to safely perform skills in gymnastics!

6. Is your gymnast ready for their first pair of grips? Or maybe they're in need of a new pair or an upgraded pair? 1. A home practice bar is a great piece for your gymnast to add to their home equipment - be sure to have a mat underneath it and to check the weight limit in order to ensure it's stability for your child. Plus, since the handstand is arguably the most important basic skill and body shape to master in the sport of gymnastics, it can truly make an impact on your athlete's overall performance.
